Campbell wins grudge shootout
Used to scoring political points rather than goals, the East Londonderry MP defeated his sparring partner 2-1 in a dramatic penalty shoot-out at Coleraine Showgrounds last Wednesday afternoon.
The DUP politician had laid down the challenge to Nolan - who can boast presenting the biggest show in the country - in his programme.

Donning an extra-large goalkeeper’s jersey Nolan and Campbell warmed up for their contest with a few well chosen jibes which soon turned into a pantomime style slagging match.
The shoot-out was a prequel to a Men Against Cancer fundraising match, organised by local estate agent Barry Torrens at the Showgrounds later that evening.
Marty Quinn Misfits lined up against an Oran Kearney Coleraine Select for the Belfast-based charity.

It was decided that each goal would mean that the Radio star of ‘the biggest show in the country’ would have to donate £100.
It didn’t look good for Nolan when the Campbell limbered up with some impressive ball juggling skills.
The MP swiftly netted his first two kicks, leaving Nolan sprawling on the Showgrounds turf.

But fair play to Nolan.
He traipsed off to the dressing room and handed £200 over to a very grateful Barry Torrens for his charity fund.
Final result: Campbell 2, Nolan 1.
