Ulster Society of Women Artists call
Opening times are from 10am-9pm [Monday through Friday] and from 10am-6pm [Saturday and Sunday].
The Society was founded in 1957 by Gladys Maccabe at a time when women were not accepted into Art Societies. She invited 10 prominent women artists from the province to meet and, from there the Society was formed.

Achieving membership to the Society is, and always has, been considered a mark of distinction; a large number of aspiring artists continue to apply for membership through the official selection process.
The Society today has 98 members from all over the province and, throughout the year they hold a number of very successful exhibitions at various select venues; the exhibition will include many forms of art.
