Added energy for Stepping Stones
The funding has enabled Stepping Stones to purchase an interactive whiteboard and a digital projector in order to run their own training programmes for young people with learning disabilities and difficulties.
The funding will help them provide the necessary equipment needed to deliver courses in Food Preparation, Health & Safety, Information Technology and Customer Care.

These courses teach important skills that are transferable into work and home life.”
Lisburn gas installer David Mayne recently paid a visit to Stepping Stones and he reflected: “We are delighted that this equipment is now playing a key role in the positive work being carried out by Stepping Stones. The training programmes provided will no doubt make a real difference to these young people’s lives, both now and into the future.”
