After another top class performance Paula is crowned the UK champion
Internationally renowned Drum major, Paula Braiden, who leads Cullybackey Pipe Band, won the Adult Grade Drum Major category and received her impressive trophy from the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Nichola Mallon.
The competition took place at Stormont Estate, Belfast, on Saturday and was hosted by the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association in partnership with Belfast City Council. The event saw 110 of the best pipe bands and 50 of the best drum majors from across the UK and Ireland compete to be crowned champions in the newest competition in the piping calendar. The Chieftain of the Gathering was the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Nichola Mallon.
