£1.75 million housing scheme is opened
The £1.75 million scheme at at Lisnablagh Road was supported by the Department for Communities and through a Housing Executive Housing Association £925,000 grant, with the remainder being provided through private finance secured by Triangle Housing Association.
Officially opening the new development, Minister Givan said: “This excellent new development provides modern, energy efficient homes to a range of families and individuals in this locality.

Hide Ad“The provision of this housing development is the result of much hard work and determination from all parties including Triangle Housing Association, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and Cross Glebe Community Association. I congratulate Triangle for once again providing high quality homes which the residents I have spoken to are extremely pleased and proud to live in.”
Chris Alexander, Chief Executive, Triangle Housing Association welcomed the Minister and thanked him for officially opening the scheme. He said: “Triangle is very proud of this scheme, which has provided high quality housing for 20 households. This scheme represents a long term commitment by Triangle to the local community here at Harpurs Hill.”
Acknowledging the active participation of the local Community Association, Mr Alexander added: “We look forward to building closer relationships with the local community as part of our commitment to improve the lives of our tenants and contribute to the improvement of the local area.”
