Blazing car captured on camera in Cookstown

This man had a lucky escape when his car caught fire at the weekend.

The driver was travelling along the Dungannon Road in Cookstown when the incident happened.

He managed to pull onto the hard shoulder where Cookstown photographer Jonny Megarry captured the car in flames with his camera.

Firefighters attended the scene and the blaze was brought under control.
