Cash stolen from local supermarket
Police are appealing for information after a sum of cash was taken from a shop on Wednesday, March 1.
Detailing the incident, a police spokesperson said: “At around 12:35pm on Wednesday, March 1, a customer withdrew £30 cash-back from the self-service till at Asda, Ballyclare.
“Unfortunately, she forgot to take the cash and it was lifted by an unknown female using the same self-service checkout after her.
“Police would appeal for this female or anyone with information to contact Newtownabbey Police Station to resolve the matter. Ring 101, quoting serial 875 01/03/2017.”
