More than 50 children have ‘aced’ the week long tennis camp at Fairhill in Cookstown.

The children were among the first to complete one of more than 60 activity programmes being organised by Mid Ulster District Council during July and August and Councillor Kim Ashton, Vice Chair of the Council, visited the camp on its last day.

“The weather was great and the children very clearly enjoyed the camaraderie of the camp as much as the opportunity to improve their game with the help of two very dedicated coaches from ‘Pro-serve’, Ronnie Ballintine and assistant coach, Simon Ballintine.
