Dromore choir to mark 60th year
Dromore and District Male Voice Choir will celebrate its 60th anniversary at a thanksgiving service in First Dromore Presbyterian Church on Sunday (February 1) at 6.30 pm.
Members are expecting a huge turnout of invited friends from the province’s other male voice choirs .
Formed in 1955 by the late Dean Roland Hutchinson to promote the art of male voice singing and contribute to charity, the now 30-strong choir will be accompanied by Gertrude Jamison and guest organist Stephen Hamill.
The offering from the service will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
