The money was raised for the Ulster Cancer Foundation through a variety of fundraising activities by Nationwide, which has an outlet at Market Place. Liz Atkinson, Head of Care Services, with the charity, said: “UCF’s partnership with Nationwide has helped us to raise awareness of cancer among staff in the financial sector and their customers. The money raised will help us continue our lifesaving work, for which we rely almost entirely on voluntary donations. All money raised for UCF is spent solely within Northern Ireland to support local patients and their families.”
