‘Lots’ up for grabs at Marie Curie auction
The local group, who are experienced fundraisers, have never held such an event before but are overwhelmed by support for the idea, having already received a vintage tractor and horse cart as very generous donations.
Pictured are the McCormick family who kindly donated a tractor for the auction.

Driven by personal experiences with both cancer and Alzheimer’s, the group are reaching out to businesses across Northern Ireland and anyone who would like to make a donation.
Group member Briege Hamilton said: “We are very excited about this event, it has taken a lot of time and planning but it will all be worthwhile in the end.
“Unfortunately most of our group members have seen close friends and family suffer at the hands of both these diseases.

“We do however need your help in order to make this event as successful as possible. We are relying on donations big or small from near and far!”
What type of donations are Marie Curie Moyle looking for?
