Mamma Mia! E2A sets sights on hit musical
Following on from a successful pantomime, Beauty & the Beast, the group resumes today (Tuesday) with the launch of their spring programme.
Fresh from the festive break, E2A’s plans for the year are underway, and the group will hold auditions for their spring production of Mamma Mia on Tuesday 14 January 2014 at their base at E2A Theatre, Scarva Road, Banbridge from 7pm.

Hide AdA spokesman for E2A Inclusive Theatre Group told the Leader; “This feel-good musical features the music of swedish supergroup, ABBA. The story is set in Greece with a young girls desire to find her real dad to give her away at her wedding.
“A hilarious script and great music with a typical E2A twist! Audience participation will be an innovative approach, ensuring that everyone is involved in the production.”
The group, which was formed in 2011, is widely recognised as one of the leading resources in inclusive theatre, involving people of all ages and abilities, many with physical or learning disabilities.
Co-founder Jonny Conaghan explained; “E2A has become a popular and reputable theatre group for people with and without disabilities, and has evolved with other activities, including a new social enterprise.”

Hide AdE2A Fancy Dress Sales & Hire is based in Wee Box Shops in Newwry Street, stocks a variety of costumes for all occasions.
The shop is run by members and volunteers and provides training and experience in retail customer service.
The group has also been recently awarded the contract from NEELB to provide drama services to schools in the Antrim cluster.
