Mayor recognises work of volunteers in the borough
Mayor, Alderman Victor Robinson welcomed the 11 young people, aged between 14 and 25, who represented a wide range of organisations which included the Mallusk Community Action Group, Whiteabbey Community Group, Rathfern Company of Archers, 314th Girls’ Brigade Monkstown, Ballyclare Youth Club, Grange Youth & Community Group, Glengormley Ambulance & Rescue Unit, Monkstown Boxing Club, National Children’s Bureau, Glengormley Girls’ Group and the South and East Antrim Community Federation.
The event was held in conjunction with Volunteer Now to recognise the tremendous work that the young people carry out on a weekly basis.
