Op Torus nets over £30k of drugs
The figures are a combined total for the Ballymena, Ballymoney, Coleraine, Larne and Moyle policing areas.
Operation Torus was an initiative aimed at street level drug dealers and included, as supported by the local Police and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP), an education element. The ‘Drug Dealers Don’t Care, Do You?’ campaign advertisements were displayed on local billboards, buses and taxis, as well as on radio and social media over the last number of weeks.

DCI Blemmings stressed that the end of Op Torus did not mean the end to police activities against drug dealing.
