Young Person’s policing guide launched
The handbook deals with all of the major issues surrounding crime and safety that young people could encounter. Limavady PCSP have made copies available to pupils in all of the Borough’s post primary schools in order to inform pupils about the risks and consequences of involvement in crime, as well as increasing understanding of how to keep safe.
The comprehensive guide deals with topics such as e-safety, anti-social behaviour and criminal records and offers sign-posting information for young people who need further advice and support.

Hide AdThe Partnership (PCSP) which was established in April 2012 brings together the work of the former Community Safety Partnership (CSP) and District Policing Partnership (DPP).
It is facilitated by Limavady Borough Council and overseen at a regional level by Department of Justice and Northern Ireland Policing Board. All Councils in Northern Ireland now have a role in facilitating PCSP’s, each of which has a Policing Committee.
Membership of the PCSP includes elected members of Limavady Borough Council and publicly appointed members of the community, as well as statutory organisations that have a role in reducing crime and tackling anti-social behaviour.
The PCSP will be tasked with the formulation and delivery of a strategy that reflects and addresses the needs of local people. The PCSP aims to deliver safer, shared and confident communities across the Limavady Borough Council area.
