Alan Givan has been elected in the Lisburn South District Electoral Area.

Father of Lagan Valley MLA and former councillor Paul Givan, his election takes to 12 the number of seats secured by the DUP so far.

The Ulster Unionists currently hold seven after this morning’s election of Brian Bloomfield and Tim Mitchell, while the Alliance tally stands at four after the success of Gerladine Rice.
