Suspended sentence for motoring offences
James Tennant (35), of Knockan Terrace, was also banned from driving for six months and fined a total of 250 after admitting charges of taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s authority, driving while disqualified, careless driving and driving without insurance, when he appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court.
The charges arose out of an incident at Tullymore Dale on December 31, after Tennant had taken his partner’s vehicle without consent.

“Do not be tempted to get behind the wheel of a car again until you are totally legal,” the judge added.
