Tide will tell with Big Telly
The boats were created from materials found along the River Bann, each with a sail containing their thoughts, dreams and visions.
This finale event was part of a unique theatrical adventure to celebrate both communities.

Hide AdThemed around journeys and inspired by the River Bann, both groups have been simultaneously involved in river-combing trips, arts and crafts, drama and creative writing over the past twelve weeks.
Community events like this heighten awareness of community heritage, empower local people to promote their area and take pride in where they live.
Participation in this arts project encouraged new and existing talents within the youth clubs, raising standards in creative and practical work and developing the children’s skills and confidence levels through active participation in workshops.
This inter-disciplinary arts project has been created in association with Big Telly Theatre Company and is supported through the Coleraine Youth Service (NEELB) and The Department of Social Development.
