£573k spent on Foyle build since 2009
Education Minister John O’Dowd revealed that total expenditure on the Foyle scheme stood at £15,073,000 at the start of April.
The Foyle site in Clooney was purchased in 2009 for £14,500,000. Thus £573k has been spent since then.

Hide AdOf 18 other capital projects announced by the Minister a year ago, a number were located in Londonderry.
These included the Ebrington Primary School project, which is closely tied in with the Foyle move.
Over the last two years £164k was spent moving the Ebrington scheme forward.
During the same period £160k was spent on a new school in Eglinton.

Hide AdThere was much more modest expenditure on the proposed Belmont House school in Londonderry and the proposed new Rossmar school in Limavady.
A sum of £10k has been spent on each of these schools but none since the 2011/12 financial year.
The Education Minister revealed the detail in response to an Assembly Question.
