Weather: Mid Ulster and Tyrone to escape worst of wintry cold snap
According to the Met Office, Saturday will see a mainly dry morning but any brightness fading as cloud continues to thicken.
Outbreaks of rain will reach northern areas by the end of the morning and spread south, this preceded by some snow over higher ground in the east. Maximum Temperature 6°C.

Hide AdTonight: A cloudy start with some patchy rain, this becoming confined to eastern coasts during the evening. Elsewhere becoming dry with a few cloud breaks allowing patchy frost. Minimum Temperature 0°C.
Sunday: Mainly dry during the day with a few bright or sunny intervals. Outbreaks of rain will spread in later in the day with freshening southeasterly winds. Maximum Temperature 7°C.
With largely clear skies and no cloud cover, the public are being urged to take care on untreated roads and paths hit by frost.
