Letters will be delivered to millions of people over the age of 65 in England next week, inviting them for their Covid-19 vaccination.

Invitations to have the vaccine will be sent out from Monday (15 February) to the latest priority group, according to a report seen by The Sun.

The letters will invite people to receive their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination at a larger vaccination centre or at a pharmacy.

More than 13 million jabs

A total of 13,509,108 people have now received the Covid-19 vaccine across the UK, as part of the government’s huge vaccination programme.

The government looks to be on track to reach its target of offering the vaccine to 15 million vulnerable people by mid-February.
