Bann head to Inst while mini-rugby kicks off
The Belfast side has not enjoyed the best of fortunes in recent seasons and Bann coach Daniel Soper will be hoping to pick up a first Ulster Senior League win.
However a number of niggling injuries may well prevent the Kiwi fielding his strongest side, so it could be a test of Bann’s strength in depth.

Hide AdThe game at Shaw’s Bridge will kick off at 2.30pm, with Bann Seconds tackling their Instonians counterparts at the same venue at 1.00pm.

Meanwhile the new mini rugby season kicks off this Saturday at Rifle Park.
Many of the Bann players took part in the Ulster Rugby Summer Coaching Scheme and they will be approaching the new season full of enthusiasm.

Hide AdMini rugby is for boys and girls from P2-P7 and there is a panel of qualified coaches ready to take each of the year groups, with a full programme of festivals and fixtures throughout the season.
Players may register from 9.15am on and coaching sessions run from 9.30-11.00am.
