Bolton takes stock after Raceway misfortune
Bolton qualified well in third position for the Wash&Dash Challenge Trophy final after two good results in the heat events and when early leaders Frankie Lynn and Micky McFall tangled Bolton looked poised to inherit the lead.
Misfortune struck however when the car of McFall careered back onto the track and straight into the path of Bolton’s Vauxhall Nova which put the Ballymoney man out on the spot. Lynn recovered from that drama to win the trophy ahead of Tipperary Raceway visitor Alan McCormack.
