Carniny coaching event receives boost from Wellington church
All at Carniny are very grateful to the local church for permitting use of their fabulous facilities and allowed the coaching of the various Carniny club teams by the former Celta Vigo and Birmingham City star to go ahead on Tuesday , Wednesday and Thursday.
Jim’s coaching of the various team players and mentoring of the club coaches will continue in the New Year further enhancing standards at the club.

Hide AdIn order for the club to continue to grow they are currently on the look out for prospective coaches of the required standard set by the club to work with young people at various levels.
The club will provide the necessary training in order for coaches to achieve the qualifications required to work at the top youth set up.
Already this season the club has sent several coaches to Liverpool, Leicester City and Port Vale Football Clubs as part of their coach development programme and have another three clubs lined up in the New year for visits to build relationships and plan visits hopefully by club players.

Hide AdThis club initiative is all down to the clubs recently appointed development officer, Bob Mullan who has used his many contacts in the mainland to Carniny’s benefit.
10th ANNIVERSARY PLANS
The club’s 10th anniversary celebrations officially get underway on Saturday, March 6, with a dinner and dance at the Adair Arms Hotel, Ballymena commencing at 7pm.
It is hoped to have special guests at the event which will also include an auction of several items.
