Jeffrey praises Bannsiders ‘touch of class’
Jeffrey, who is leaving the Windsor Park hot-seat at the end of this current campaign, was presented with a personalised bottle of Coleraine Whiskey by officials at The Showgrounds.
Speaking after the game the Blues boss stated he really appreciated the gesture.

Hide Ad“I have to mention the kindness and generosity of the Coleraine directors, staff and players who presented me with a personally labelled bottle of Coleraine Whiskey,” said Jeffrey.
“I though that was a really lovely touch.
“I always usually get a touch from the Coleraine crowd, I don’t know what was happening because they even applauded me today.
“I have to say to Coleraine the rivalry has been great but that was a touch of class today.”
Jeffrey also praised the Bannsiders for the way they went about their business on the pitch.

Hide Ad“We knew it was going to be difficult here, it always has been during my time with Linfield whether as a player or a manager, these games are special,” he added.
“They always put it up to you and Coleraine’s performance today belied their league position. They contributed mightily to a very entertaining game in a day when we had afour seasons,” concluded the Blues gaffer.
