Kearney sets his sights on another new signing
The Bannsiders boss wouldn’t be drawn on who his target is, but did say he is optimistic that a deal can be sorted in time.
“We are working on bringing in another player and at this stage I would be hopeful that we will be in a position to do that,” said Kearney on Monday.

Hide AdKearney is looking to bolster his ranks ahead of an important double header against Dungannon Swifts. The Bannsiders travel to Stangmore Park this Saturday for an important league game against Darren Murphy’s side. Seven points currently seperate the sides in the table with Coleraine having a game in hand.
That’s part one with the Swifts heading to The Showgrounds the following Saturday for the sixth round Irish Cup clash.
“It’s always difficult playing the same team two games in a row, but thankfully we have experience of it with the games against Ballymena last season,” said Kearney.
“What helped us was getting a positive result in the first game. There is plenty of incentive there for us. We want to progress in the cup, but it’s also very important for us to climb the table.”
