United v Carrick match off due to frozen pitch
Ballymena United's Danske Bank Premiership match against Carrick Rangers today has been called off because of a frozen pitch.
Referee Raymond Crangle inspected the surface at the Warden Street venue this morning before declaring it unplayable.
“The pitch is rutted in areas and some of the touchlines are icy,” explained the official.

No new date has yet been finalised for the match to be played.
