McCleay leads team to victory
The Confined Stableford competition on Saturday went to Noel O’Connell (15) with 41 points in very difficult conditions pipped former Derry City player Paul McLaughlin (10) on a break of tie with Kevin Doherty (12) with 38 points taking third spot.
While Karl Doherty won the Callaway Tour Bag raffle which was sponsored by The Competitions Committee, funds were raised for City of Derry Junior Golf

Hide AdJim Stone (20) returned to form with a well compiled 35 points beating Bert Glackin (13) into second place on a break of tie with leading Golfer of the Year, Rick Porter (16) finishing with 33 points to claim third spot in last Thurdsay’s Society competition, at Prehen.
Mr Mike Carroll’s Skippers Day will take place on Thursday, April 4, presentation and meal will take place at 6.30pm.
Members are reminded to place their name and meal choice (£10) on the sheets in The Professionals Shop or Clubhouse.
The Joe Ramsey Trophy and Golfer of the Year will also be presented on that day.
