Thompson holds on to win sweep event at Galgorm Castle
Two points further back came Colin Steele (5) and Michael Alexander (5) and another point behind came Gareth Beckington (13) and Joel McNeilly (6).
Peter Daly (7) was a further point back.
Through thirteen Jackson had moved one point ahead of Thompson who was three points clear of Beckington, Steele and Alexander.

Hide AdA further point behind came Daly and Ardis who ‘dinged’ thirteen.
A new leader emerged approaching the Lowlands with Thompson taking a two point advantage after Jackson ran into bogey trouble.
Beckington who had been steadily moving up joined Jackson.
Ardis was another point behind and a point ahead of Daly, McNeilly and Alexander who were a further two points ahead of Steele who faltered at fourteen when he failed to score.
In a close finish over the closing two holes Thompson with a double bogey, bogey held on to win by one point from continued improving Beckington (two pars) with Jackson (bogey, par) another point behind in third place.

Hide AdWith only one place remaining there were five players in contention to make for an exciting finish and so it turned out.
Ardis (two bogeys); P.Daly (two pars); McNeilly (par, bogey); M.Alexander (bogey, par) and a late finishing Steele (par, birdie) all finished together another two points behind and with a better back nine P.Daly finished in fourth place.
Daniel Reilly (3) won the Gross.
