HOCKEY: Belfast High’s Megan Todd and Jessica McMaster help Ulster retain title
Jessica scored four goals in the four matches and Megan, the team’s goalkeeper, made some very impressive saves.
The team went unbeaten in clashes against Leinster, Connacht, Munster and South East. Goals from captain Kathryn Edgar, McMaster and a double from Rachel Burns helped secure a 4-2 win over Munster last Friday.

Hide AdThe squad secured maximum points from their two games on Saturday with a 5-0 victory over South East and a 9-0 win over Connacht. Goalscorers against South East were McMaster, Lauren Mulholland, Alana Doyle and a brace from Suzannah Brown.
Against Connacht, Rachel Burns, McMaster, Kerrie Burns, Rosie Henderson, Jane Kilpatrick, Jenny Morrow and a hat-trick from Ulster Elks forward Hannah Irwin sealed an emphatic success.
On Sunday, Ulster secured a point against Leinster to seal the Interpro title with a 2-2 draw.
