Kennedy produces a strong display at Great Rossa Run
At Sunday’s Belfast Titanic Half-Marathon and 10k, Conor Sheridan finished in a time of 1:48:24 (162nd). Karl Joyce ran 49:08, taking 41st and club newcomer David Finlay was 64th in 52:18.
Competing in her third half-marathon this year, Tracey Parke crossed the line in 211th (1:54:10).

Hide AdDrew Girvin led the way for the East Coast AC contingent at Saturday’s Larne parkrun, finishing 10th in 21:17 before John Steele in 22:05 (12th). Other times: Sandy Plumb (24:13, 29th); Harry Plumb (24:58, 35th); Bradie Hogg (25:06 sixth lady); Johanna McIlroy (27:26, eighth lady); Daniel Gillan (29:32, 53rd).
At Ballymena’s Ecos parkrun, Charlotte Dean clocked 26:58 (14th lady), while mother-and-daughter duo, Colleen and Imogen Taylor, completed their first Ecos event side by side. Imogen timed 42:09 (50th lady) and Colleen 42:10 (51st lady).
In Worcestershire, Peter McManus ran a new personal best 23:19 at the Evesham parkrun to claim 29th spot.
Larne Athletic Club: Six Larne AC members took part in the annual Greyabbey round the Springs 10k and 5k race. Results: 10k race - Craig Hutchinson (6th, 37:04); Brian Heron (18th, 39:13); William Thompson (23rd, 39:40). 5k: Bobby Boal (8th, 19:45 pb); Emily Boal (19th, 26:25 pb); Paul Magee (31st, 31:35 pb).
