Professional cricketer, Avadoot Dandekhar, will run fun and inclusive sessions over a six-week period for young people aged eight to 16-years-old. There was a great response to the first of the sessions, which took place last week. The coaching sessions will be used to promote good relations among youths from the areas of Town Parks North, Steeple, Rathenraw, Ballycraigy, Parkhall, Stiles and Greystone. Organiser Ryan Haire, from Muckamore Cricket & Lawn Tennis Club, said: “Community groups will receive coaching for two hours per day, one day a week, for six weeks and, we will come to you so there won’t be any travelling involved. “This is a great opportunity for young people to learn a new sport or build on existing skills.
